How About Volunteering too?
The trail network in Springfield is expanding through the efforts of concerned citizens like you. Continued success depends on the enthusiasm, volunteerism and financial support of the community.
A strong public/private partnership is required to create greenways, so if you're not already an OG member, please become one by donating. It's tax-deductible and we're offering special $20 memberships in 2011!

Membership
"What do I get for my membership?"
Membership is the foundation of support for the trail system. Without people like you - donating as little as $30 a year - this great trail system wouldn't exist. Members help shape our community for current and future generations! Plus, you get the OG News three times a year to stay current on OG projects, programs, and receive special invitations.
Endowment Fund - with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks
With the future in mind, the Community Foundation of the Ozarks is managing an endowment fund for OG to secure the financial foundation of the organization. Various forms of tax-deductible gifts can be contributed including stocks, life insurance, appreciated assets, real property, charitable remainder trusts and cash. When planning your will or estate, please consider a gift to OG, to preserve greenway trails for future generations.
EarthShare - Workplace Giving Program
EarthShare is made up of the world's finest environmental charities working together. Through EarthShare of Missouri, it's easy to give to organizations in Missouri who are helping conserve our environment. A single gift can be made or a regular payroll deduction arranged. Ozark Greenways is one of over 70 organizations represented. To register your workplace, contact EarthShare at (314) 621-6182 www.earthsharemo.org
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are needed for everything on our Activities page. Get involved - it's fun! We use volunteers in various ways: trail workdays, events, Trail Watch, board of directors, committees. Committees include the Social Membership Committee, Adventure Race Committee, Sustainable Transportation Committee (START), Technical Planning Committee, and Land Trust Committee.
