Bike to Work Week
May 13-17, 2013
Free, Fun, Easy and Makes a Difference
By registering your commitment to participate in Bike to Work Week, and getting to work or school without your car at times throughout the year, you are showing others that you strongly support making Springfield a more bike-friendly community. Your participation helps the initiative move forward.
Whether it's by biking, taking the bus, walking, telecommuting, carpooling or any combination, everyone who participates at least one day that week will be helping to shape our city's development. Using our community's growing network of on-street bike routes and greenway trails is as important as building them. Tell your friends!
We've simplified the event this year to make it easier for everyone to participate. No registration needed! Although, below you can register your workplace or school as a show of support for Springfield's alternative transportation choices. If yours is already listed, you might want to get in touch with the contact person to collaborate and encourage more people to participate. Let us know on the OG Facebook page how it goes that week. (We love photos too.) Thank you for participating!
