Ta-Dah

It's pretty darn exciting for Ozark Greenways to have this website all about alternative transportation! Our goal is to show people that leaving their car behind once in a while (or even on a regular basis) isn't as hard as one might think in a community like Springfield, where a whole network of greenway trails and on-street bike routes is developing. This site will also be developing, so stay tuned. There's plenty of good information here already, so look around!

May 16-20, Participate in Bike to Work Week

May is Bike Month, and Bike to Work Week is the crowning event. Join us by taking this fun annual challenge to leave your car behind at least one day that week to get to work or school, whether by bike, bus or a combination.

Kick it off with Ozark Greenways and Queen City Cycles at Patton Alley Pub for a "Bike-in Movie" double-feature, Breaking Away and Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Monday, May 16, 7-10pm. $5 gets you into the movie, discounted Fat Tire ale, and a donation to OG!

Come along and enjoy the ride.
