Ta-Dah!
Do you know how exciting it is for Ozark Greenways to put up this brand spankin' new website all about alternative transportation? Well, it's pretty darn exciting. Our hope is to show people that leaving their car behind once in a while (or even on a regular basis) isn't as hard as one might think in a community like Springfield, where a whole network of greenway trails and bike routes is developing. This site will also be developing, so stay tuned. There's plenty of good information here already, so look around!
We invite you to participate in two events in May.
One is on Friday, May 1, where we'll be partnering with First Friday ArtWalk downtown on the square. We encourage everyone to get to ArtWalk by bike, then park it with us. Ozark Greenways will be closing off the square to display some fun art bikes, have bike parking, tall bikes, city bus bike rack demos and more - all to highlight registration for the main event. The main event, that we hold dear to our hearts, is our annual challenge during "Bike, Bus, Walk Week" which will be May 11-15.
